Save the Date originally opened on the 28th November 2014 and has been open in seven pop up locations in East London two self built, one in a converted caravan , two in restaurants and one in a shared temporary space.
In this time we have:
- Rescued 131.2 tons of perfectly imperfect produce all of which has gone out to the public in Hackney along with being used to cater awareness events.
- Worked with a team of over 100 amazing volunteers.
- Catered 14 weddings and 146 private events.
All with food which would have gone to landfill, saving tons of carbon and ensuring that beautiful food doesn’t go to waste.
